Is it worth changing my gears?
Alright, I've been wanting to change the diff gears on my ram for awhile now. I have a 06 quad cab 4.7L 2wd and running stock 3.55 gears. I'm almost positive i don't have a LSD. I guess my first question would be is it even worth doing on my truck? I don't do any towing. I will most likely run them just for the gain in acceleration. I am running 275/55 tires on the stock 20's. If it is worth the swap, what ratio should i go with? 3.90, 4.10, or 4.56? I've looked at moe's but i really dont know what i would need. I've never did this but i do plan on tackling the job myself. So is there anything else i need to consider. Any help would be great. thanks
