Default Blew up the HEMI today

its been a long time since i have had to be on this thread for help, but do to certain circumstances i need everyones help again with my motor problem.
Last Friday as i was driving into town from work my truck started to vibrate like a kid at the candy store. I pulled over shut the truck down then tried to restart it and nuthin just a thud. well i towed it to my buddys to find out the engine is pooped, broke the #1 piston rod, screwed the crank and block into mush and pretty much just destroyed my engine.
The problem i am having is trying to find a new motor, I have been looking all over Manitoba and Saskatchewan this week for a used Hemi without MDS since my truck is a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 but to no avail.
What i am wondering is can i throw in a 5.7 hemi with MDS into my truck, and what other procedures i would have to switch around.
If anyone has done this before or if anyone close to Manitoba has a used hemi for sale let me know please. Its driving me crazy not having my truck on the road so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Myles

Yeah I would look on ebay and craigslist but why cant you just swap out the lifters and yokes from the MDS ones to the non-MDS lifters and yokes?

I dont see why not but you would need to look at one and make sure all the sensors are the same and in the same place. Thats what I would do

If you do go with the mds. I think a wiring harness would be in your future. It can be done, You gotta think outside of the box. Lotta work too.
