Default 2003 Ram 1500 4.7 magnum idle speed

Hey Guys,
I have a 2003 model 1500 single cab with the 4.7 magnum engine and auto box. I am trying to find what the standard idle speed should be for this truck at normal operating temp.

Currently she sits around 600 rpm but this seems a little low.

The main issue is that my truck runs on both LPG and 95 octane gas (european, I think that is about a 90 rating in the US) and as the engine reaches 40 degrees C it automatically switches from running on Gas to LPG. Now if I am running at over 1000rpm when this switch happens it is totally undetectable, but is I am doing a slow manoeuvre where the car is just ticking over it stalls every time. This is leading me to think that maybe the idle speed should be a bit higher, say 8 or 900??

Additionally, in all my other automatics if I take my foot off the break the car starts to creep, where as in this truck you have to 'tickle' the throttle to get her started.

An additional proble i have noticed is that whilst she revs brilliantly on LPG (maybe a tad week between 3 and 4000) when I switch to Gas she simply will not rev above about 4200, not that I need her too, but I am sure thats not normal!!

My 4.7 idles at 625rpm once it's up to temperature. I have no idea what to tell you about the LPG issues or if the rev issue is related, but the 4.7L redlines at 5300rpm on stock settings.

If it is stalling out doing low speed maneuvers, it is either an air issue (clean your throttle body, filter, etc) or a transmission issue where the torque coverter is locking up prematurely.
