Hi. I was wondring how do you move the Hemi grill? I just cant get it off. Im pulling like crazy. Thanks!

I am guessing he has a factory hood scoop.

 

The one thats on the red truck in that guys sig. The lines on the front grill. Not the honeycomb.

 

You want to remove those? They dont come out unless you get a different grill. Its part of the grill its all one part. Unless you already know that and your asking how the grill comes off...... wait.. lol Stupid me, i acaully have no idea how it comes off. I think there's a bolt or two somewhere. It shoudn't be hard. Ill look at my truck tomorrow morn and let u know.

 

I just removed mine (2005) to paint them black. Here is what I did. First, you need to remove the complete grill. This only takes about 10 minutes. Just take out all of the surrounding mounting fasteners. The top, (along the hood line) is held on by 2-sided tape. If you pull on the edge of the grill with the fasteners removed it will give you enough gap to slip a single edge razorblade into it and run it across the hood line and cut the tape. The whole grill will come right off. Once this is done, lay it face down on a blanket. The grill inserts (the parts I believe you are trying to remove) look like they are installed with plastic rivets. They are actually clips. Just take a very small punch and push the center pin in the clip through and out the other side. The rest of the clip will then easily come out. Then the grill insert will come out. To re-install, put the clips back in the holes and push in the center pin. Done. The reason the entire grill has to be removed first is because two of the clips that hold the inserts in cannot be reached with it installed.
