Default Heat only on Passanger side???

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi.

My pickup has the dual climate control. I'm not sure what I got going on with my pickup but basically the driver side cold air blows on the defrost/head/feet, but the passanger side will blow warm air. When I set it to only the head and put the blower on full blast passanger side gets realy nice and hot but driver side stays cold???

Is your anti-freeze level full, thermostat working properly, bad radiator cap not letting the system pressurize? It is either your heater core or blend doors I would assume. Go to http://heatertreater.net, they have videos that show you how to check the blend doors to see if there is a problem. If thats not it, you might have a plugged heater core. Try flushing it with a water hose and see if anything comes out of it. Hope that if it is a plugged heater core you are able to flush it, if not and you have to replace the heater core you have to pull the entire dash out to replace it. Be sure and bleed the system after you put everything back together to get the air out.

I was afraid it was going to be this.

Anyone have good instructions on how to pull the dash and fix this? I'm a broke collage student and don't have money to take the truck to the stealership.

So I have been doing a lot of reading.

I have seen a few post people have the same exact problem as me and they flush the heater core and it seems to help. I thought to myself can't be possible.

For ****s and giggles I checked the lines going to the heater core and the supply line feels like it has tons of pressure behind it and it's so hot I can't hold my hand on it. Now the return feels like not much pressure and I can hold my hand on it. I think tomorrow i'm going to try and flush the core and see what that does. I doubt it will do anything but worth a shot I think.

I do not have the dual climate control but i have the same problem. I am almost positive that my blend door is fine and i can select from defrost to vent to feet just fine. It's just too cold here to work on car right now. My only other concern is that the air blows stronger on the (cold) drivers side than it does on the hot passenger side. Defrost seems to be good and warm all the way across but the driver side feet is cold. So there's my issues, i only wish i could tell you what my solution was... but i'm willing to bet it's the plugged core.
