No mate, American cars are not that common over here, as an every day drive they are way too expensive to run. We pay £1.10 (ish) per litre for gas and the price is quite low just now, it was almost £1.45 this time last year so we are looking at £6, per gallon, scary eh.

Very scary. We have the possibility of a hurricane coming so I filled up everything this morning including gas for generators, chain saws and such. Paid $2.46 per gallon of diesel and $2.16 per gallon of gas. I'm guessing the conversion is still around 1.5 x 1? So that would make a gallon of gas what, about $9.00 American over there?
Someday I'd like to take a golfing tour over there. Used to be a 3 handicap, but I'm getting old and don't have time to play nearly as much. Struggling to keep my handicap in the single digits anymore...
