Default Engine Dies While Driving

Hey I'm a second gen owner but my buddy at work has a 3rd gen with the 4.7 and when he's driving he hits 30mph and it actually dies on him so he has to pop it in Neutral start up again...

Anyone have any thoughts on it, I'm hoping it's some sort of easy sensor fix or something that you all know about and are chuckling at your keyboards at our ignorance. Thanks for the help.

What year? There is a TSB for '04 & '05s about needing a PCM flash to remedy the low speed stalling issue...

We also have seen guys with loose grounds at the PCM or rear of the engine block or even the nut on the PDC post cause issues like that. One guy over on DT had a bad PDC itself and had to replace it.
