My concern is that if I get the 4.5" backspacing it will make the tires stick out to much. On the flipside I'm worried that 5.5" will have problems with it rubbing.

Everything below says it will work but I've had local tires shops tell me otherwise. Anyone have a similar setup with some lessons learned?

Dodge Ram 1500 4wd 2002-2005
stock truck/wheels...you can fit 34's with no issue's(relatively normal width of 275-295)
stock truck/wheels...35's rub at full lock and are really big in fenders for stock height.
2"lift w/stock wheels.......Barely fit 35's with minor rubbing
Either addding 1.25" or 1.5" spacers to stock wheels OR aftermarket wheels w/backspacing 5.5"-4.5" will fit 35's no rubbing.
2"+left/level AND 5.5"-4.5" backspaced wheels will allow up to 36" but will slightly rub. You need a 4-6" lift in order to clear 36's.

2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd
I turned the torsion bars 3 full turns in this pic. I think I'm going to turn them another turn to raise it just a little more before getting an alignment.

18x9 KMC Enduro wheels with 0 offset. 35x12.5x18 Nitto Trail Grapplers
Full lock no rub. My bumper had been tapped by the previous owner. I had to trim the front lip that's attached to the bumper just a little bit for it to no rub on the driver side. I think if the bumper/rebar was mint it would of been fine.

Has anyone ran a 265/70/18? Thinking on that size, with a weight rating of 114.

I used to ride with 305s and never had an issue. But my 325s used to scrub at full lock until I lifted it. You will be fine

I have an 02 ram 1500 regular cab. No lift or leveling kit. Looking at 35-14.5-17. Will these fit with 2inch wheel spacers. Wondering if they will rub at all? Please help

First off, is it 2wd or 4wd. Even then i highly doubt it will fit. I have a 02 quad cab, 2wd with a level. So it sits like a 4wd. Right now im running 285/70/17, or 32.7 x 11.22 x 17 and thats about max tire size. Your 2 inch spacer may cover the width of tire but a 35 inch will not fit in wheel well height wise.
