Default DTC#1 P0441

My check enginge finally came on again. Yeeeaaaah!j/k I plugged in my Hypertech and it read DTC#1 P0441. So, I came inside entered the code in the computer and Googled it and I got this P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge flow. Anybody know how to fix this? I think it might have something to do with my intake...I'm always wrong!

Nope that site didn't help...I was hoping someone who had the problem would tell me how to fix it. This didn't happen to anybody that installed an aftermarket CAI?

OK first off, the CAI does not touch this system at all. The intake refered to with this error code is the "Intake Manifold", a CAI is just a tube system getting air to the throttle body, the Intake Manifold is after the throttle body and gets air to the heads and mixes fuel with the air right before getting to the heads. Unless you messed with your intake Manifild or the Vacuum lines then I would not see a problem with installing the CAI...
Second, the page I sent you to above explains what this code IS caused from, how can you say it didn't help, what didn't help the information on what casued it???
Third, it specifically states in there that " The Fuel Filler Cap , however, should be a prime suspect because of the year. Early model years (through 2003) had a supplier that used the incorrectly finished metal diaphragms that permitted premature corrosion."
And you have an 03 that is why I sent it to you...

Thats what it was the last time I saw one, tightened the cap and voila'! all better. If not then you might have to get a new gas cap.

The funny thing was my wife spazzed out when she saw the check engine light come on. She cut short an errand trip to go straight home and had someone take her to work before I got home. When I told her what it was she got mad as hell! She couldn't believe that's all it was.
