Default Valve Springs

Does anyone know if this is a fairly simple DIY mod?

What is the best brand of Valve springs to replace my stock ones with?

Thanks

Fairly simple swap.

Manley Springs are probably the best - BUT EXPENSIVE. Mopar 6.1 Hemi springs are probably just as good, much stronger than the 5.7 springs and about a third the price of the Manleys even from a dealership.

Beware Comp springs, lots have guys have "upgraded" to them only to see one or more break...

im assuming your talking about the 06' Ram Hemi in you sig. unless you are changing the cam, i wouldnt worry about swapping out the springs. the 06's didnt have the issues with the springs like the 03's did. i have an 03' and for me it was a Pain In The A**. those little keepers suck!!!!!! i wouldnt at all worry about swapping those springs unless i were changing the cam!

Agreed but in case you or anyone else did want to do them, you could follow my How To Change a Cam in our FAQ section and follow the steps pertaining to pulling the springs. Pulling the heads means new head gaskets and bolts ($100) and you need a special tool to pull and replace the springs.
