Default Low Tire Light 08 RAM 1500

Is there any way to disable the tire pressure monitoring on these trucks?
I want to put a set of different rims on my truck, the rims already have tires mounted on them and I dont want to dis mount them, put sensors in and re mount. Is there any way to fool that module? I have a DS Predator tuner, but no option in there like there is to turn off MDS.

I suspect not, since it's a safety thing. It's probably tied in with the ABS, so pulling the fuse may not help. Since there is so much computer control, the thing may not be fused in the traditional sense.

They all have ABS. Yep, those temperature swings will set it off. My Mazda even complains when there is too much pressure.

Yes, REAR ABS to be exact. Front ABS was an option.
I'd have to look at a wiring diagram to see if you can do something about those sensors. I would think that the cluster is involved and if so, there's prob no easy way or anyway at all around not having them.
I'll take a look tomorrow on my day off.

Pull the bulb from the cluster, that's about all you can do. I don't think they are a 'safety thing', or tied into abs at all, just a sensor in the valve stem.
