Default Transmission help 1st Gear?!

Hi ok here is what my issue is. I have a 2006 5.9L. When I am driving it revs up to around 3000 rpm and 25 mph before it shifts. After it shifts the other gears are fine. I have no error codes popping up. I have removed the batteries to try to reset the computer. I have uninstalled the program (Bully Dog) and batteries again. Does anyone have any ideas on what else I can try?!

Gas or Diesel?

1500, 2500 or 3500?

That sounds about right depending on conditions (like weight) and throttle input.

I mean 3000 RPM isn't very high... if you can take a video of it happening and post it, it might help us actually see if there is something wrong, but from the sounds of it, it doesn't sound too bad.

When was the last time you changed Transmission Fluid and Filters? And how many miles are on the truck?

Run it! It's fine. But if fluid and filter haven't been serviced, and your over 30,000 miles couldn't hurt to service it dodge diesels are known for tranny and front end issues
