Default Fuel pressure regulator location???

Where is the fuel pressure regulator located on a 2003 Ram 2500 with 5.7l? Is it located on top of the fuel tank? Also how hard is it to replace? Was thinking of replacing it since I got 75,000 miles on it and heard it can improve throttle response.

Thanks

It either works or it doesn't. I would leave it.

Throttle response can be improved by a TB cleaning. A Sea Foam treatment can't hurt.

Yup, What Mike said. The regulator is integral with the pump and filter
