That's odd! I just changed my front driveshaft about a month ago. Took me a total of 35 min! Very simple change! Are u sure u removed all 4 bolts from the flange up front?? U have to pry apart the flanges after u remove the bolts, then u are gonna push the driveshaft into the transfer case to move the front flange outta the way of the pinion flange so u can u can pull it out of the transfer case.

The slide is rusted solid. The slide moves so little that they freeze up.

Yes have all 4 bolts out, and front of drive shaft is hanging on y pipe. Spline is frozen. Hoping someone has a trick? Was thinking heat but don't want to mess anything up.

50/50 mix of acetone and ATF+4 (trans fluid) then put it on the rusted surfaces and let it sit for a bit, reapply and let sit again and it should loosen up a little bit.... (wear gloves and goggles to be safe)
