How do I get the cv joint out of 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi? It won't come out. Was under there for 6 hours today. It only comes out so far then won't come out at all. It's only left in a hair. You can see the treads. I got the snap ring off but now the axle won't come off. There's a piece that's about 5 or 6 inches long. That goes into the transfer case. That's still connected to the cv... Is that piece supposed to come off too? If so, how?
