Default HVAC Temperature Control Panel/Switch

Heater Control Panel Light
After putting in a new seat heater switch, the Light on the Heater Control Panel is out. It is only on the **** for the Fan Speed and Discharge (floor, defrost, etc.)
Since I had to pull the Bezel off to replace the seat heater, I thought that maybe a connection had come loose and that was the issue. So I pulled the bezel out again and double check the wire and they look good.
The lights for the Temp Levers and Defrost Button work just fine, it's only these two *****.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Could it be that why I snapped the bezel back the first time that I jolted the lights in the switch enough that they burnt out?? This would mean I would have to replace the whole Control Panel.

I found the part number for the Control Panel and for my 2006 it is Part # 55056570AD
However, I have found the part number for the 2008 to be 55057080AA.
Since they are the same model and gen truck, would the parts be the same??
I ask this because the 08 part number is cheaper.

My guess is that you have a bulb out, they can be replaced by taking the hvac control back out, the bulbs twist into the pc board on the back side
Easiest place to get them is at the dealership if you want them right away, and, they aren't very expensive---give them a call first to make sure they have them---usually they do.

These bulbs are not replaceable. Neither are the heated seat controls, or the headlight switch. I know, Mine have been burnt out for a couple years, and I tore into it last summer along with the instrument cluster. The cluster has replaceable bulbs, everything else does not!!!

Thanks for the info.

Do you know if the 2008 and 2006 Heater Control Switches are the same??
So I can order the cheaper one and replace it.

I really wish these bulbs were replaceable. Both my heated seat switches, power rear window switch, half of the HVAC, headlight switch, and half of the radio are burned out. Really pisses me off. The only thing that looks good at night is the cluster. It would cost me well over a thousand to replace the components, just to get light again!!!!

I don't understand why 3/4 of my LED's have failed, and only one of my cluster incandescent bulbs have failed. I thought LED's were supposed to outlast filament bulbs 20 to 1!!!!

That's too bad about the bulbs, I recently replaced them on my 2005's.

the bulbs are replaceable, you just have to have the ability to solder. I bought my truck and it never had a light in the power rear slider button. did the led conversion and opened up the switch there was a burned out bulb in there. soldered in a new blue led and all is good.
