Check engine light came on three days ago. 05 Ran P/U 4.7. O Riley's said code P0562, low voltage. Battery volts 12.43 key off and 14.60 running. Volt gauge on dashboard reads slightly towards H but was always straight up before light came on. I thought first move would be have the battery checked, logic being if light is saying low volts and gauge is saying high volts then alternator must be putting out enough volts and battery failing to retain. First guess have to start somewhere. Just for fun decided to try the key trick. Totally different and unrelated code P2098, lean right bank, back sensor, or exhaust leak. What? anyone ever have different codes with different scanning tools?
