Question Need parts interchange for NP 200 series transfert case
We lost the double Cardon -joint on the front drive shaft and resulted in cracking the front half of the transfer case. The truck has a NP243 D case with the shift motor, have located a case from a NP241 D manual shift. are the front case halves interchangeable?

Update: Ran the VIN and discovered this truck should have a 273 case. How it ever got a 243 is up for grabs. Now to find the entire 273 D case. Seems like it never ends.
