Plasti-Dip help
I want to plastidip the wheels on my truck black. Does anyone here have experience with plastidipping wheels?
I am just going to use the plastidip in a spray can, then use the gloss finisher.
Do I need to remove the wheels to do this? or just cover up the rotors and calipers?
Any help with this would be very appreciated. Thanks guys!

I have seen several folks on here that have done it.Surface prep is important, but you don't need to sand.Just clean/degrease and then wipe with isopropyl alcohol.Removing the wheels is up to you I would think...does it take more time to remove them or to mask for overspray?Share some pics when you are done!

No problem! It was actually fairly easy to do. It took me just short of 3 cans of the black. And not even a full can of the glossifier. I am really impressed of how it turned out especially for the price. It was $24 after taxes. However, I would recommend taking the wheels off. I didn't try taping off the calipers and rotors but I imagine taking all 4 wheels off would be much quicker. Since I have the availability to use a lift thats how I did it. Good luck to all who try this. I give it a 4.5/5 on how easy and 4.5/5 for appearance.
