Default Neutral Safety Switch bypass

Can you bypass the NSS on the Solenoid pack that is on the Valve Body? If so what is the process and what color are the wires?

truck won't start, fuel pump not coming on gauges won't work but the indication lights come on, on the dash. The little square box around PRND21 is no longer visible. Heard from individuals on the internet that this solenoid pack on the valve body can go bad and it is usually the neutral safety switch. I have already taken the solenoid pack out once. If the NSS is bad I will replace it but I want to test it first.
