Default engine failure

I have 120954 k on my pickup and I was running around 65 and my oil pressure bottomed out and my engine shut off..i could crank it up but when I would shift into reverse or drive it would die so I drove it about another mile and it shut off when pulling in drive way.. I have replaced oil and oil filter and replaced the crank shaft sensor and oil pressure sensor.. I am replacing cam shaft sensor in the morning and hoping that will work.. The truck will turn over all day long and sounds like it wants to fire up but it wont... If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it thanks in advance

It would help to know what year your truck is, and what engine it has ?.

I would recommend that you check your oil pressure with a gauge, its not uncommon for an oil pump to fail and lose oil pressure, and some vehicles will shut off if the oil pressure drops below a certain point.

Guessing is not going to go well. If you have some mechanical problem such as timing, you could end up wiping the engine out totally. Same goes for running it while it's detonating.

Never just replace parts... never ends well.

like already stated... fuel pump.. test it. No pressure, No start.
and most pumps fail between 100k and 150k miles .. so maybe time .. BUT TEST IT.

121k miles is NOT a lot of miles...

WHAT ABOUT CODES... ENGINE CODES..??? ENGINE LIGHT ON..!!!

Default engine failure

The pickup is a 2004 ram 1500 5.7 hemi 2wd fuel pump still primes when I turn the key over and engine still has compression and truck is holding oil. Im replacing the cam shaft sensor today I'm hoping it will fire up.. I ran the codes and it was throughing the crank position sensor and the mass air flow sensor and that because I don't have air filter in it at the moment
