I have a 2003 Ram 2500 standard cab work truck that I'm fixing up. One of the things that I'm looking to replace is the tailgate. It's shot.

Will the tailgate off a 2002 Ram 1500 work on my 03 2500? What about the bed & other body parts?

 

I don't think so, go to www.car-parts.com and go shopping

 

Yes. 2002 1500 and 2003-2008 beds, tailgates, doors are interchangeable. Fenders are not after 2006.

Thanks for the discussion on the lower tailgate trim. I have to swap my lower tailgate trim to another tailgate that I recently had painted, so this is timely and helpful.
