My 2003 1500 4.7l overheated...head gasket ok...but when thermostat was replaced, the temp gauge in the cluster jumps 1/4 into temp range when cold and 4/5 of the range at temperature...shop tested on machine at 200-203*.

Anyone put an analog or digital gauge on the system other than buying a new/used instrument?
