Default 04 Ram, Help me choose between Hid and LED Headlight/Fog kit.

Ok, I am pretty sure I am going to go with either LED or a Hid kit for both Head and Fog lights. I am looking at kits I think in the 4 to 6 K range with both Hi and Low beam. These are some listings I am thinking about but I am open to other brand and Kit suggestions.

Pro's and Con's Please.
Any Modifications needed?
I am looking for low maint long life kit.

Thank you

I have had HID (heads+fogs) in my 2008 since it was new. They always can have issues at some point but they cheap enough that it doesn't matter. I have gotten more than 4 years out of them. You will possibly need a relay just for heads as I did for mine. You should check in the sticky for HIDs for that about your year. If you hook them up and they don't light then you know you will need. You can get a relay kit for like 7 or 8 bucks on ebay. But, you may not need.

The stock yellow lights? No comparison. Xentec- popular kit sold on ebay.

hi
if you are going to hids or leds get projector housings

these are my favorite bc they look stock, they are not all ricey with angel eyes and stripes of leds in them

for bulbs go with LED headlights bulbs with ballasts, but get a better brand for around 100 bucks ,most have long warranties

I am not a fan of projector headlights but the ones in the link above are nice. I will look into that.

I just ordered these

Head lights low and High Beam.

https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...Specifications

Fog's

https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...Specifications

What do you guy's think?

Also Do I need to remove the Headlights to replace the bulbs? How do I remove the headlights? I think I see 3 Bolts.

Do I need to readjust them after every time the headlights are removed? Or do I not touch the adjusters? Thanks

Yes, you need to adjust the light angle while you put the new headlight bulbs in. But that is not complicated, just rotate the bulb to find the cut-off line.
Superbrightleds headlight kit is good, but better for fog light. It is 1360Lm only, even less than you stock halogen headlight bulbs.
