Need recommendations for shocks
Hi Guys
It's a '03 1500, 4.7L 4X4 standard cab short box.
I need to change all the shocks (a REAL bouncy ride now!) and I'm asking for feedback/recommendations on the best solution.
A couple of things to consider: While there's not a LOT of off-road driving, I nevertheless have to drive a lot on really poorly maintained roads - lots of bumps and the odd unexpected pot-hole. I also need to haul some pretty heavy loads frequently, be it up to ten 50kg sacks in the box, and I may soon be hooking up a trailer to haul long cuts of lumber.
One additional comment: the truck has been leveled with a set of 2" keys.
I really need some recommendations on the front (struts?) and rear, including sizes taking into consideration the fact that the truck has been levelled.
Thanks, fellas
