Default Is a ignition upgrade needed?

Hello, I have a 2007 ram with the 5.7 hemi and have installed long tube headers with high flow Magnaflow cats and muffler, Superchips tuner and a Fastman throttle body with cold air intake. I was wondering if I need to run bigger injectors and maybe better coils to get the most out of what I have done. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm running a very similar setup to you minus the Throttle Body. I'm running a Superchips 3815 Tuner on the 91 Tune with 93 octane gas, JBA Mid length Headers, Stock cats with no muffler and a K&N Cold Air Intake. Did you notice a difference with the Fastman throttle body?

The Hemi has been blessed with a great ignition system and it prefers cheap copper champion plugs.

Injector upgrades wouldn't be needed unless you decided to boost the engine. Stock & mild Hemi's do just fine with stock injectors. If you keep the truck as is you can get it custom dyno tuned to suit your mods, it basically would negate the superchips tuner settings but tailor fit to your mods. Your gains may only be a few horsepower going that route, but you'll be perfectly fine if you stay with the superchips tuner.

Well I actually just got the TB installed and I am having an issue with WOT!
The truck runs fine until you mash the gas and then is throws the ETC light and starts to run rough. It will even do it when you ease into the throttle until you hit WOT. Any ideas why it is doing this?

For your mods you don't need a TB or injectors, stock is plenty big, especially since you don't have cam or head work. Stock coils are also plenty unless you're running nitrous or forced induction.

I figured out the issue with the WOT! I had my CAI tube pushed in to far and it was hitting the butterfly on the TB. The Fastman TB really did make a difference in the performance. I have a dyno app on my phone and I know they are not real accurate but it showed it made about 15 more HP. I can feel the difference. Thanks for all the help guys!

Nope! OEM steel. Picked it up used in primo shape about 3 years ago for about $350. Was worth the 4 hour round trip drive to get it. Now if I could only find one for my Charger that didn't cost an arm and a leg...
