Default Bummed after Timing chain replacement-help

I have a 04 Ram with 260,000 mi. It has had a tap at the front of the engine for some time. It was the upper timing chains. The solid guides were gone only the bolt spacers were left. I replaced the timing chains with no problems. I was very surprised how clean the area around the rocker arms and timing chain were as there was NO gum of any kind just oil stain. After every thing was back together it started right up, just one vacuum hose cracked.

I fixed it this morning and started it again and ran it for about an hour and it was running great. I decided to take it out on the road for an easy run to town. (25 miles each way)
I got about 7 miles down the road and the check gauges light came on? All the gauges were good. Then the light cam on again and the oil pressure was 0. It shut off and would not start till it sat some. We towed it home and I went to start it to back it in the garage and it is running rough but will only stay running if I keep the gas pedal down. It does have oil pressure.
I is NOT showing any codes?

What are anyone's thoughts on were I should go from here?

ps I have been doing all of my own work for years and built street racing engines in the 80's, so I do have some back ground with this kind of work.

Do you have a 4.7. Don't know the 4.7, any way a sensor connection is loose.

Still Bummed
I checked all connections and Vac. lines.
Found a crack in one fitting and fixed it.
Then I got a code P0172.
I checked the new plugs and found #7 was wet.
I got a new coil and replaced it, still had the same code.
Then I removed both Oxygen sensors on that side and cleaned and reinstalled them.
Still same code.
Today I replaced the MAP sensor, it took longer but the same code came back.
It runs rough if I keep it above 1500 rpm but any lower and it stops right away.

Any ideas?

check your tps sensor. once they go, truck will not stay running at all, replace with oem dodge. or a simple cleaning for now should do the trick.

Thanks superdak05
I picked one up and replaced it.
It ran better for a short time but it is still running rough.

The code I'm getting is P 0172

I am thinking of removing the valve cover on the drivers side and checking the timing mark.
Any one have any other ideas???

Running rough sounds like a inoperative cylinder....and confirmed by your wet spark plug. I would start with a compression check on that cylinder and maybe better yet a leak down test on that cylinder. Then follow up with removing valve cover on that side to check valve train.
