Default 02 Ram 1500 tcc solenoid dtc

Truck got the dtc for the tcc solenoid, it started stalling at stops, if I'm sitting still in gear with foot on brake, and give a little gas the rims fluctuate while holding steady on accelerator then dies after letting off gas.

Just found out my tranny has 15 bolts which makes it the 45RFE, looks like these have a solenoid block which is everything built into one, also says there is an updated block with a white plug that replaces mine , is this the same solenoid that controls everything?

Check your Transmission fluid at normal operating temp. If it is low, it will stall out when stopping. I just had this issue and discovered when I changed the fluid, I didn't fill it all the way. I should have checked the level after letting it sit for a spell after refilling.

Also if I would go out in the morning and start my truck to let it warm up, when I get ready to leave and put it in gear it kicks in kinda hard

How low was your fluid? Mine is about 1/2 inch from the top hole on the dipstick
