Default 2003 ram 1500 torsion bars

What is the largest Tire I can get by just tightening the torsion bars on my ram 1500 4wd?

It's more about backspacing than fender clearance.

Raising the torsion bars will stiffen the ride.

I am good with the stiffer ride. Just want to know if 35's will fit or do I need to go with 315 or 325's ??

Have you looked at the thread I linked? 35's will fit, but the backspacing clearance is going to be your issue. Keep in mind that a 35" tire is not usually a true 35", but diameter is usually about 1/2" smaller and rounded up for marketing. If I'm not mistaken, 35" tires will fit a stock 4WD without cranking the t-bars, you just can't hit any speed bumps. :P The stock 20" wheels come with 33" tires on them, and you see the wheel well clearance there.
