Default Passenger window switch not working

I've got an 04 ram 4 door and the passenger switch randomly stopped working. I tried wiggling the wires like some suggested and got nothing. I read where some also said it could be a bad master switch so I replaced the switch and still nothing. I can roll every window up/down on the master switch and the rear window switches both work fine. It's only the passenger side switch that won't work. The door lock button works, but the window switch doesn't work and is not lit up. Any ideas?

Thump the inside of the door "firmly" with your hand or fist. Seriously, that was the fix for a lot of older Chargers and Magnums with one bad window switch!

Otherwise, replace that window switch.

Did you happen to replace it with a used switch? Here is the fix I performed on mine, just last weekend.

Note: Dakota and Ram have the same switches, but the removal steps for getting the switch out of the door panels may be different.

Thanks for the replies! I did try banging the doors and got nothing, and I did order a switch from amazon that was used, but it said it had no signs of use, just box damage. Could that be my problem?

Broken solder joint on the lock out button. Takes < an hour and costs nothing to fix.

But if I replaced the switch then the solder joints wouldn't be the problem, would it?

My driver side switch quit working one day and when I disconnected it I looked at the connector itself and one of the ports was slightly bent. After tweaking it a bit I reconnected and it has worked perfectly ever since.

You replaced the Drivers master switch. Have you considered replacing the passenger switch?

So after replacing both the driver's side and passenger window switches, the window still would not roll down...I tested the wires with a meter and got nothing so I took the door panel off, speaker out, and starter pulling/pushing the group of wires, while holding the switch down. All of a sudden the window rolled down! Come to find out the plug that goes into the door jam had wiggled loose, so I plugged it in and VOILA! Thanks for all the replies!
