Hi Guys,

I've got a 2005 Ram 1500 Hemi QC SLT. I have been looking in to upgrading to the EVS II Security System... an upgrade listed on the Mopar website. The kit apparently comes with new keyless entry transmitters, electronically coded keys and an interior theft sensor. The kit costs around $200 ordered through your local Dodge dealer.

A few times a year, my wife and I end up out of town in a hotel and I thought this might be money well spent, but was wondering if any of you have ever purchased this kit for your Ram and if so, do you like it? How much trouble was it to install? Is it worth the price?

I know there are aftermarket systems out there... but I kinda like to keep my Ram all Dodge when I can.

Any thoughts on this subject will be greatly appreciated!
