Fuel overflow when filling

I just had enough of the the fuel spilling out of my new 08 4x4 Ram.
I took it to the dealer at first (last service) and they said problem could not be duplicated, i dropped it off over the last few days and i got a call today saying that they looked at the all of the hoses and they look and are operating perfectly.
I tried to explain to them what others have mentioned here and its pretty much is meaningless to them.
I told them there is a problem and it does need to be solved, he said to bring it back once the tank is more empty.
Does anyone here have any advice, this is like pulling teath ? ? ?
Thanks
Pete

The dealer can not duplicate your problem . they will never be able to duplicate you problem unless you bring it in empty and they take you to go fill it up. We have no gas pumps at the dealers and were not goint to pay to fill your tank. We have to take your word and follow the tsb's or the star cases to try and fix the problem. and if and when they order you a new tank pewase dont bring it in full run it as close to empty as poss . if you bring it in full you may not get it back full

I have not had this issue on my '07 since I purchased it 6 months ago. This is interesting though.... I sold my '06 Mustang GT due to filling issues as well (I actually couldn't get gas in it without it "clicking off" at any point, no matter how empty or full the tank was). I had a similar problem with the dealer, where they couldn't reproduce it. I finally took the Service Manager with me to the gas station, tried filling it, and then had him try it. He couldn't put gas in it either, but Ford told me flat out that nothing was wrong and they weren't going to do anything about it.
That is why I won't buy another new Ford. Hopefully you don't have the same experience with Dodge.

i had this exact same problem on my 07 ram when i bought it. Every fill up, no matter what station or pump it would overflow all over the truck. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the whole gas tank, said the vapor recovery system was bad in the tank. Since then it has happened once, and that was bc the pump just didn't shut off period. I suggest calling your local dealer and see if they will replace it under warranty. It drives me insane when gas spills all over the side of my truck, but it has been fine ever since i had the tank replaced
