I'm no expert.......but i would bet, that they are trying to snow you.....What happens if what they did to fix your vehicle, goes bad after the warranty is up? They never told you what caused the original problem, so you wouldn't know if the second problem was a result of the First problem.....DOSS i don't know................
How is the vehicle running now?

have only driven 50+ miles on the new motor and so far i'm ok with it. waiting for the other shoe to drop, have noticed that the fuel milage has went down 1.2 mpg. i assume that it is due to the motor breaking in, i'm going to file with the Attorney general about Chrysler and see what they can do. this is far from over as far as i'm concerned i hate to think that i've been taken advantage of!!! as far as the problem your guess is as good as mine they are not sure what happened and that is what i know. I would like to know how to stop this so i do not damage the new motor but oh well that is how they make their money i guess. i'm sure i will never own another Dodge due to this but i'm sure they do not care there are a lot of other people out there to take my place. i can not stand for this i expect to have my questions answered, that is what i what just tell me how i did this. i have been in the field for more than 15 years and can not say i have ever seen anything like this.

Aside from the people you're going to contact, make sure you contact the BBB.
These guys shouldn't be getting away with this nonsense......Do us a favor, and keep us abreast of both how the vehicle runs, and how the attorney handle's it....I'm sure everyone will like to here what happens...............................

Chrysler is privately owned the BBB can not do anything. Chrysler does notparticipate in the BBB, the BBB told me to contact the Attorney generaland fill out the form and send it in. I'll keep an update going on what is happening. have a good new year

If i had to guess, I would say check the internet, Forbes magazine, or any other medium.... I really think you should forward this info to someone high up. You see, these flunky's you've been talking to, don't understand one important thing. And that is, if customers who buy/purchase are not satisfied they will show it by buying foreign vehicles. I really think the Presidents/CEO's of these companies understand that, but these middle guys dont.... Just my .02 cents worth.....
If i find out anything out about a CEO/President I'll post it..............Good luck.

Hey striper21, i think you should contact vville123, because if i'm not mistaken, he's having some problems with his engine also..
I think it blew, for no apparent reason. Maybe you guys should communicate, compare notes and make some notifications.
I contacted him also, and advised him to contact you in reference to this issue.
His post is either on page 1, or 2.
Let us know what happens.

Is $9000.00 the price of a new engine?
