NO NO NO!!!! DON'T UNHOOK THE BATTERY!!! All that will do is **** you off while you're trying to reload your settings on your stereo. Ok, what you do is:
1)Pop the hood and open the fuse box.
2)Remove the ECM fuse (should be fuse 19).
3)Get in and buckle your seatbelt (this will prevent the seatbelt reminder chimes from initiating).
4)Turn the key to "RUN" but DO NOT start.
5)Wait 5-6 seconds and you should hear a chime and then within 1-2 seconds, a second chime will sound.
6)The computer is now reset.
7)Replace fuse and button it all back up.

This might be a dumb question but what's the difference between the ecm fuse & the pcm fuse. Becasuse when I installed my K&N I pulled out the pcm fuse (fuse # 23). I don't know but maybe the fuse numbers changed between years?????????

ecm or pcm, same thing. In our dodges is called a pcm, powertrain control module.

Just remove the top to the fuse block and look up the number for the pcm fuse

Default Dodge Journey 2014 fuse

My 2014 also has 2 fuses with pcm/tcm on them.
Should I leave those alone?
