Default disable mds permanently

For the members who have been looking for a way to disable mds, I found a pcm flash for you.

http://www.powerported.com/productDetails.asp?id2=44

This custom flash will remove mds and give some performance benefits as well.

Dude thanks so much for the post. I am tempted to get it but I already have superchips. I'm thinking that if they can do it that Superchips shouldn't be far behind. Anybody have any thoughts. Obviously if you use this you would have to take the truck back to stock with superchips first.

It is possible that Superchips will develop the ability to disable MDS, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. Superchips drags its feet at times (newer 4.7 superchips anyone?). I agree, the flash and Superchips probably wouldn't get along.

I believe you can get custom tunes from Superchips (of course, it costs a lot more money)

you send in your pcm and they wipe it clean and rewrite it. i didnt see anything on the hemis in the truck though.... b&G does the truck hemis and for the same price and will taylor it to your wants/needs. if you dont want the mds take it to the dealreship and tell them to turn it off. they can disable it and SHOULD do it for free .....but some are nice guysand some are dicks

While I would like to think the dealer would do it, I doubt they would change any setting that didnt come out of the factory............... especially if you are within your warranty period.
