[sm=lildevil.gif]I use Castrol because it still feels slick after 3000 miles. I have used Pennzoil and it kinda smelled burnt, and it was a little gritty. so I went back to Castrol and have used it faithfully.

I have run through just about every kind of synthetic that AutoZone has on the shelf between my last 2 rams. Haven't really noticed a diff in any as long as you change it on time. Was thinking about trying the Royal Purple next but after reading this poll the oil of choice seems to be the Mobile 1.

Default RE: What oil do you use?

I use strictly Mobil 1(inventor of synthetic oil/official oil of NASCAR)in...
The Ram gets 5W-20
The Grand Cherokee and Wrangler get 10W-30

The Mustang gets Valvoline Durablend 20W-50. It has over 225,000 miles so I do not want to use a full synthetic and have it pass by the rings.

All of my vehicles get Wix ( inventor of the spin-on oil filter/official filter of NASCAR) filters.

Default RE: What oil do you use?

After finding out that Mobil 1 was no longer full synthetic, i gave German Castrol Syntec 0w-30 (auto-zone only) a try. Like it so far but i only got it because i couldnt find a place that sold Royal Purple here in town. Now that i'm moving ( Texas ) i'm sure i will find a place that carries it and may switch to it as soon as i put around 10,000 miles on her. I do run Royal Purple synthetic diff fluid as i found that my local pep boys carrys the stuff now. Figures i find it after the fact. Oh well, like i said, 10,000 miles and in goes the Royal Purple if this stuff ends upnot being as good as all the info i have found on it. I have read a lot of good info on the German Castrol Syntec and i feel it is comparable to Amsoil and Royal Purple and @ $6.00 a qt, i aint crying.
