Curious to know. Alot of people are using mobile 1. I have been using mobile1 in my vehicles for a while now along with the mobile 1 filter. For whatever reason since I have owned the ram I have been opting to go with the truck/SUV HD mobile 1. Its a 5w-30 what I would use anyway. Was curious if any1 else is using this? It usually cost the same, maybe I just like when they say on the container "for hardworking engines".... Anythoughts?

I have always used Penzoin since my first car, 1968 Charger R/T 440ci 4 speed. this was in 1979. I have never had an oil related problem with Penz and all my engines look brand new inside. The key is changing the oil regularly before the hydrocarbons contaminate the oil
I'm partial to Pennzoil myself. The reason I picked the quick-change place I go to is they're a Pennzoil dealer. Now that I change it myself, I use Pennzoil Hi Mileage in my Ram and my daughter's Camry. The Chrysler will get "regular" 5w-20 at its next change. Straight dead lizards in all our rides. Many publications dispute the longer interval, so I don't go for the synthetics. I did read that the 5w-20 is a synthetic blend anyway.

I use Mobil 1 5w20 with Fram TG16 filter. Why do I use it. No super particular reason I suppose. I've always used Mobil and never had any problems. Plus I've been using Blackstone Labs to test my oil at each change and the numbers are panning out very nicely.
