Default Dashboard Removal

Hey guys I know this may sound stupid. My truck has been in at the dealers for a couple of days now getting an electrial issue fixed. When I went down there yesterday I noticed that my trucks interior had been taken apart, the dash, center console, cluster etc.. What I want to do is take the truck apart myself when I get it back to make sure these guys put everything back together correctly including screws etc.. I know it sounds dumb but I am picky and on top of that not knowing if somewhere back there is a missing or lose screw etc.

Does anyone know were I can get a diagram that shows how to take the interior apart? Will this info be on the manual? Were Can I purchase this diagram? Anything helps guys! THANKS!

If it is anything like my 'o3, it is a major ordeal, most of the front of the dash has to come out, the top plate near the window, and multiple fasteners. I suggest getting a Haynes service manual and looking at the details. I tried to take mine out because of a crack on the passenger side, and got stuck around the passenger side airbag. I never did figure out how to get everything loose so the dash cap would come off.

In all honesty i wouldn't even worry about double checking what they did. If something rattles or doesnt function properly down the road then take it back to them.

I bought a Service Manual CD on ebay for $10.99.

Someone else there was selling the same thing for $49.99.

Lots of info. Same as dealer.

If you are paranoid that they might "gomer" something up in your truck to the point that you are going to go through the major job of removing and re-installing the dash, then why the hell didn't you just remove the dash and fix the electrical issue yourself in the first place.
I've got to admit, I've fixed a lotof things on my vehicles through the years that would have been a free warranty repair, but I know if it's within my capabilities, I know it's done right.
