Default New DVD player! [Added Daytime Pics]

Pioneer AVH-P5000. 7" pop out, retail around $650. Great picture, amazing sound. iPod direct control, even keeps your iPod charged. Also has a cord to run to your glove box for USP input if you don't have an iPod. Great equalizer, bass boost, the works. Check out the pictures:

that's a nice screen ddue. we have one where i work i love it. i prefer the 4000 double din over the flip outs but that's personal preference.

I'll take some daytime pictures tomorrow, guys. Yeah, I like the double din too, but I didn't want to get a custom center bezel for it.

Looks nice, but i really wish that either the insurance companies, or the federal government Ban these type of devices in the front.....I mean, people have enough distractions as it is now, without adding a DVD into the mix...THere are some people who can barely drive without distractions, then you add a DVD/Cellphone/GPS into the mix and we're all in trouble...

When you install the DVD player, you cannot watch DVDs or any other videos unless you apply the emergency brake, release it, and apply it again while the car is in park. Of course, you can modify it to a toggle switch to bypass this feature [which is illegal, and if you do this, you run the risk of a hefty ticket], but there will always be things of this nature. For instance, people who insist on installing annoying ass HID headlight conversion kits that blind everyone else on the road instead of buying DOT certified HID headlights, people who eat while driving, talk on their cellphone while driving, change discs in their cd player, etc, etc... There are tons of mods on this site that aren't the safest thing in the world, but, to each his own.
