I AM DOING A HEMI SWAP TO MY DODGE RAM W/ A 4.7L. I BOUGHT A HEMI ENGINE W/ PCM AND HARNESS FULLY COMPLETE W/ ACCESSORIES. HAS ANYONE DONE THIS???

What are your plans with your wimpy 4.7L? Care to donate it to a good cause? We are looking for 4.7L doner engine to build up and install a 13PSI Whipple charger on. It will be completely torn down and rebuilt with Forged Crank/Rods/Pistons... Not looking to spend a whole lot, we just spent 300bucks on a 4.7L H/O engine yesterday. So if your wanting a few bucks to put towards your HEMI swap we would be happy to take your 4.7L off your hands.

I PAID 1000 DOLLARS FOR THE ENGINE W/ ALL ACCESSORIES AND PCM W/ WIRING HARNESS. I INSTALLED THE HEMI AND IT FIT RIGHT ON TO MY TRANS. I HAVE TO GET A FUSE BOX AND A DASH HARNESS BECAUSE THE HARNESS IS DIFFERENT FROM AN 03'. IT WASNT TO BAD BUT IT DID TAKE ALOT OF TIME. ALL I NEED NOW IS TO WIRE SOME THINGS UP AND THATS ALL SHE WROTE. I JUST HAD TO HAVE A HEMI AND I DID, IT HAS 15K ON THE MOTOR. I COULD NOT BELIEVE NOBODY HAS EVER ATTEMPTED THIS, I TRIED TO GET SOME HELP FROM EVERYWHERE BUT NO LUCK, I JUST WENT AT IT ALONE.

Are you sure the 5.7 balances the same way as the 4.7? you may need a torque converter out of a HEMI trans to make it work right. If you have a wicked vibration when you crank it up, that would be the most likely cause.

I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS W/ THE TRANS, IT DOESNT SHAKE OR NONE OF THAT. I AM GOING TO UPGRADE THE TORQUE CONVERTER LATER BUT AS OF TODAY IF RUNS GREAT.
