so I made my power wire.. I was curious about this and wanted to see what happen if there is any gain and so...
I have also the superchips to monitor the temp inside the intake.
I use a potmeter to adjust the added resistance from 0-10 K. so when I started with 0 ohm the temp was about 175 F and with 10 Kohm the temp is about 70 F....
so the big question is where is the best setting?
is there any tuning people that can advise where to set my intake temp?
it is hard to see if I change "spark advance" with this "power wire" it is so many factors that changes from time to time. (engine load specially)

I made several for more than a few guys but if go back and read posts 59 & 60 you will see you are only going to get so much out of it. I did a big thread on this a long time ago and about using different resistors to get the best numbers and it seemed the 4.7-5k was the best. Anything more than that and the PCM limited the air temps numbers for you. So in other words, put a 10k resistor on it and its 75* outside, it isnt going to read 32* on the IAT.
