Default 2008 4.7 Tuner/Programmer options

I have not been able to find anything except the Hypertech tuner which I would like to stay away from. Anything by Diablo, Superchips, or Edge out for the 2008 4.7 Ram yet? Or maybe a date? Thanks.

I have only heard of the Hypertech one as well, I wonder with the changes in the engine it will take the other vendors time to catch up. They are probably waiting to see what kind of demand there is. With truck sales down maybe they are waiting to see how the 2009's sell since they have the same 4.7 available.

Yeah, only hypertech. There is the JET chip that plugs directly into the PCM. But its not programmable so it does not even compare to the tuners. I have it and noticed improved shifting, acceleration, etc... But im getting the hypertech maxenergy soon. Why are you trying to stay away from it??

Ya, the Superchips will work. Thats really our best option. The Hypertech compared to the Superchips, options wise, is crap.

I'm running the SC Cortex on my 2008 4.7L qcsb . . . So I'm pretty darn sure it's supported. And sometime in the future, we'll have the new features they're beta testing right now with the 5.7's and then US ! After that it's customize your ride to how you want it to shift

go with the sct tune, i am running this on my 2005 4.7, there is alot more you can do with the sct tune, than sc or hypertech, www.krcperformance.com has them along with www.hemifever.com, if you plan on moding the 4.7, this tuner is great. i use this when running a 125 hemi shot of nitrous at the track, and i have a heavily modded 4.7

I have heard alot of bad things about JET chips burning up PCM's. That and they are old school. Chips are for OBD-I
