Default Making foglights stay on with highbeams on a 2008

Someone posted up some great pics for this mod but my truck is different than the pictures that were posted! My fuse box has practically no fuses? It's the one next to the battery right, there is no other box? Anyone know how to keep the foglights on with the highbeams for a 2008 ram?

Yeah, but you don't have factory foglights? My factory foglights turn off when the highbeams are on. kinda gay. I know it's just a relay, but there's no relays in that fuse box? Is there another fuse box other than the one next to the battery? There's only those square open top fuses and maybe 10 mini fuses. No relays and no larger fuses for things like the heater or headlamps?

I had the same problem on my '06, the jumper wire thing only works up through '05. If your '08 is like my '06, you can have the stealership use their Starscan tool to enable your fogs to stay on with high beams.

All they have to do is first disable the foglights altogether, then reprogram it for export to another country. It only take a few minutes, and it doesn't affect any other settings on the truck. The hardest part might be finding a dealer service tech who even knows it can be done. I had to go to several before I found one willing to try it. Most argued with me and said it can't be done. Now I have fogs whenever I want, and it's great! Good luck!

Awesome. Thanks so much. Now the question is, what will they get for doing that? Maybe one of the guys will do it for $20 on the side? I know all the big head honcho's where i bought my truck, but the service manager is a dick! They have the abilities to disable MDS and he told me he wouldn't do it for emissions reasons. What a joke. What a dick. He'll probably tell me he can't do it for safety reason on this one....lol

They might tell you they can't do it because I believe it's a federal regulation in the US that you can't have fog lights on at the same time as high beams. If you can find a dealer that will do it, they will probably make you promise not to tell.

My dealer wouldn't change mine to import mode because if I brought it in for warranty work somewhere other than there, if someone hooked up to the computer, they'd see it was set up for export and may cause complications for warranty work.

The guy didn't even charge me because I was the only one there and it only took him about 5 minutes max. I still gave him $20 for his trouble.
