Talk about having to throw the book at it!

You sure the water pump is moving the volume it should be? Since you were that deep in there it would be just a few more bolts.

Default Same Problem

Hey man i am having the same problem with my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9 what did you do to fix it, i am throwing in a thermo tomorrow, was that the problam or no

Thanks Atlanta29. I have discovered a crack in my radiator reservoir tank as well, and will replace that as soon as I can get to a Dodge dealership to purchase one. I have already replaced the thermostat, and the radiator itself.

Sad seeing so many 4.7L's blowing their headgaskets
Im not saying that this guys is blown but im saying if his coolant is boiling and the actual engine is overheating its only a matter of time..
My heads started leaking only 2 weeks after I overheated my 4.7L.
