Yea, I can tell when I pull my 30' travel trailer. Good thing it is a lite, but still 7000 lbs+/-...I know I will catch hell from people telling me I'm pulling too much. My 350 Chevy pulled it fine and this 390 does well too. A friend of mine pulls the same TT with a 5.4 Ford. BTW I have read alot of the 5.7 Hemi vs. 5.9 Magnum and am probably under powered. Iowa is reasonably flat.

Not trying to be a smartass, but the 5.9L is the 360. It will definitely pull. It was a tried and true engine, just not the most fuel efficient. My work pickup has the 5.9L and 3.55's. Its a lot different when jump into my hemi with 3.92's.
