Thanks for all of your input...I got the time, equipment, and the money. After building race cars, I'm up for the challenge of building a good 4wd truck. Looks like i'm going to be scouting the insurance auctions for a totaled out 4wd hemi QC...06+ I'll be keeping detailed pics and keep everyone updated on my progress...i'm not going to start till i'm done w/ my project drifter. i'm almost done w/ it. maybe mid summer. This is going to be a lot of fun for me.

there is an insurance auction place in acworth right off 41, its just outside acworth headin north on 41, before cartersville. and another in loganville http://www.verastar.com/ https://www.iaai.com/Auctions/BranchListingView.aspx?branchCode=710&aucDate=0306 2009#SalesList
the second link has all the info for registration
their lot is huge and full of cars/trucks. i think there is a $200 registration fee to participate in the auctions. goin shoppin this spring for a new toy/project.
If your looking for a wrecked 4x4, try and find a 2500 or a power wagon. They both had stouter drivetrains and suspensions and if your going through the trouble of turning a 2x4 into a 4x4, than swapping IFS for solid axles isn't a bad idea in my opinion.

The one in loganville is not an insurance auction and it's free. I already know about the Veristar Auctions. I used to go there and done a lot of salvage rebuilding for used car dealerships. I got access to a BlackJack 5 point drive on frame machine, paint boot, and everything else. I would love to use new parts, but it looks like the best way would be to go to the auctions. Thanks for trying to help. I got all my answers I needed and know what I'm gonna need to proceed.
