I have my cutout installed a little after the y-pipe, probably between the dashboard and the passenger seat. It’s not that bad, there is some resonance between around 1600-2200 rpms, but I can still have a conversation without having to raise my voice or yell. It’s still not that bad with the windows open, although if I hit the gas hard, then it gets a little difficult to understand what people are saying.
