Tire Rubbing issues & speedometer calibration…

I'm about 99% sure I'm going to go with the 285/70/17 Terra Grapplers; according to you guys and the local tire shop I shouldn't have any rubbing issues. --nim81, what is the t-bar you're talking about cranking, and how do I do it? --Will I invalidate any part of my warranty by getting bigger tires? Mine came with puny 245/75/17's. The truck for sale next to mine had leather/heated/power seats and 265/70/17s so I'm assuming one size up from that won't matter much. Would I invalidate any part of my warranty by putting 285's on? --As far as recalibration, is there something I have to do to the computer so the truck will shift correctly? Am I screwing up the torque by going slightly bigger? Thanks for the help. Tim

you don't have torsion bars to crank, a 2500 series truck has coil-overs...

Airbags on the back is the way to go for hauling. My boy uses them on his truck, when not hauling drop them to 10lbs or less. rides like it is stock and when pulling a 3/4 ton truck pump them up to arond 100 pounds levels the rear and keeps about the same ride quality. Make sure to use seperate valves, helps prevent side to side sway.
