My opinion...Honestly???
F'in junk. Looks like crap and you cannot remove it once you apply it. too shiny, not enough grit and just doesn't last. However, it's your truck do what you want. there's a reason they charge $500 for a spray-in liner.
You get what you pay for with that stuff. if you think you'll get a bedliner for $40 in a can, your sadly mistaken.
So, yeah, that's my opinion on that crap. Ohh, my buddy used it on his GMC. He hated it and then when he got his new truck the idiot tried it again on his brand new truck. needless to say, he borught it down and had a Line-X sprayed over the top and the place wouldn't warranty it because he had the Hercu-crap on there already. Ugghh, it looked terrible.

my buddy had a thing of it and he gave it to me, he used it on his trailer and it's held up for almost 3yrs now so i thought i'd give it a try. i would like to line-x my truck but don't want to spend $500 to do it, so i thought herculiner would work. thanks for the post, i may have to rethink the line-x.

Def re-think Line-X or Rhino Liner. both equally as good.
I've seen a few ugly looking bedliners and they were all Herculiner. They were all super shiny black. Like looking at gloss black paint and they all were so slick even a piece of rubber looked like it would slide across the bed....lol No uniformity and no consistency. No grippy texture either. Line-X is sprayed hot from the gun and cool upon contact. nothing can compare.
i don't have the $500 myself or i would get my truck done. As it sits, I have a Mopar drop-in Under the rail plastic liner. You should check your local craigslist or Want ads. Guys are selling factory bedliners for like $50 because they get spray-ins. I know you got $50. Just get under-the-rail because it will wear your paint on the outside of the bed. this way when and if you do get cash to fork over 500beans then you won't have to go halfway down the bedside to cover up rub marks.

Good decision. Every herculiner job I have seen in person has always looked bad. Most of them were peeling and all of them looked and felt slick.

from my experiences with it...some like others hate it. it is a little glossy, but the biggest problem ive found that it chips up pretty good. ive seen some use it on theyre rockers and it came out fine, but others have used it in theyre beds and throw something heavy in theyre and it takes out a nice gouge in the liner...if your gonna go for a spray in and want quality and have it look good then get rhino or linex done professionaly. if you have a beater i dont think you can beat it proce wise if your prep right...

My truck came with a canopy. No bed liner. First decision was that I am going to try and sell the canopy to pay for line-x. Seemed like a no brainer at the time. Will cover up all the scratches and dings left by the previous owner not having a liner.
