So, say it again, what was the total cost on this and what front axle are you going to use?

It's not that I am flaming you per se. It's just you are NOT prepared for this swap! This includes the shop doing the work. If they are worth their money, they would already know what to do. Good luck finding a set of shafts that fit a Dana 60 front axle and will come in spline counts to match a 5 lug hub. You are going to need to swap out everything from the ball joints or king pins out. Oh wait, I don't think there was a 5 lug Dana 60 axle produced. Re-drilling the hub and rotor may be a viable option but will cost you some cash.

Why not just beef the rear up with a Dana 60, Dana 70, AAM 10.5" (gets rear discs as well) or a GM 14 bolt and buy the correct wheels. Why go through all that work of a SAS and keep the weak stock rear axle? You are going to have to re-gear the 9.25 to match the 4.10's and this will cost $500 - $750 depending on the shop. You can buy a Dana 60 or 14 bolt ready to go with 4.10's for $100 - $150. Change the leaf spring mounts and it will bolt on to you stock springs. You just need to hook the brakes up and get a driveshaft fit.

I am saying this as a guy who DID a SAS on a 98 Astro AWD van! I have done it...not just blowing smoke up your arse.

$2800 before I sell my old tires/wheels(35's on 18s) my lift, which I'm selling for $1000, and another lift im selling for $700. Tires/wheels I will get $1400, about to sell it to someone actually this next week.

So I'll still have money left over for a rear axle swap if I decide too, I was thinking about it and it made sense. But for me to find a rear axle ready to go around here is rare, already looked alot. I will go mudding some, but nothing too drastic, I just want the Axle swap to go bigger and not have to deal with my IFS breaking from my 38's that I have on right now.

Getting an 8" suspension on top of my 3" body with my swap.

I'm going to do some calling around. If this is something that can be done for around 3 g's I'm going to get it done.
